Lead Architect

Provide technical guidance and direction to evolve our application platform to the next level.
Responsibilities

As an application architect leader, you will define and maintain the product portfolio architecture on a technical level, and ensure the software engineers have the necessary guidance, tools & know-how to deliver an enterprise-grade software solution.

You are well aware of new technology developments in the Java, cloud and DevOps space and have a keen interest in setting up a high-performant development pipeline using agile practices.

As the engineering sounding board, you will assist the engineering teams in technical design decisions and deployment discussions. You will report to the CTO and interact with experienced technical team leads and business stakeholders alike.

Your Skills
  • The candidate should have at least 10+ years of total work experience in Java/J2EE technologies of which at least 5 years in Technology Architect to design system architecture, guide and review technical delivery by internal teams, resolve architecture issues and deliver / own architecture of application solutions spanning across multiple technologies.
  • Strong OO design skills, design patterns, architecture patterns and application.
  • You have a Master's degree in a technical direction, preferably in IT and / or telecommunications and / or aviation; or equivalent by demonstrable experience.
  • You are well aware of SaaS concepts and of cloud-based applications.
  • You possess the necessary soft skills to navigate technical decisions combined with a strong business acumen to find a practical way forward.
  • You are proficient in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
  • Affinity with aviation is a nice to have plus; interest in the airborne industry is a must.

Business Analyst

Do you have a good insight into the expectations of the customer, are you able to convert problems into functional solutions? Are you interested in drones or innovative technology? And do you think that success can only be achieved in a team? Then you might be our ideal business analyst.
Responsibilities

As Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between our development team and the customer. Your responsibilities are the following:

  • Describe requirements through interaction with the customer;
  • Perform the functional analysis and after the pre-study, define and document the functional design
  • Participate in product meetings, contribute insights and ideas that help translate business needs into specifications/solutions;
  • Recommend solutions to management that balance the competing needs for innovation and standardization/process harmonization, leveraging targeted research;
  • Align product features through interaction with the product managers;
  • Test and troubleshoot new features or updates to the product to ensure solutions are delivered with quality, on-time, and in accordance with the business requirements;
  • Define acceptance criteria and support acceptance tests in close cooperation with QA;
  • Apply procedures and processes effectively.
Your Skills
  • You hold a Bachelor and/or Master degree;
  • You have confirmed experience or a strong affinity with software;
  • You are very persuasive;
  • You have good interview capabilities to extract the real underlying requirements of customers;
  • You are familiar with concepts such as business process modelling and UML;
  • You preferably have experience as business analyst, functional analyst or technical analyst;
  • You are interested in drone technology;
  • You are a quick learner, motivated self-starter;
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  •  You are able to identify and implement process and/or application improvements;
  • You have strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills;
  •  You must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;
  • You are a real team player.
  • Experience with drones, UTM, ATM, aviation is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written - Dutch is a plus.

Senior Product Manager

Are you able to develop detailed specifications and communicate the business value of the product across the organization? Are you interested in drones or innovative technology? And do you think that being successful can only be achieved in a team? Then you might be our ideal Product Manager.
Responsibilities
As a product manager your responsibilities are the following:
  • Build a long-term product vision and value proposition based on customer needs, competitive analysis and overall Unifly strategy. Product differentiation is key;
  • Define product roadmap and set engineering priorities. Work closely with project management, business analysts, business development and sales to collect market feedback and re-align roadmaps;
  • Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Manage UI/UX definitions of the product;
  • Share the product vision and value propositions to customers, partners and internal stakeholders;
  • Provide feedback on feature analyses from projects and guard the functional scope of the product. Negotiate product features between product and the projects;
  • Support management with an appropriate licensing and commercial model;
  • Become a subject matter expert.
Your Skills
  • You hold a Bachelor and/or Master degree;
  • You have confirmed experience or a strong affinity with software;
  • You are very persuasive;
  • You have good interview capabilities to extract the real underlying requirements of customers;
