Android/Xamarin Developer

We’re on the search for a Mobile Developer (Android specialist) who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Unifly’s apps.


You will develop the existing app and working together with a small team of product and engineering professionals, using various back-end service integrations.

Responsibilities
  • Use Xamarin to design and build applications for the iOS, Windows and Android platform
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across multiple devices
  • Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Your Skills
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, variable network connection handling, and performance and memory tuning tools
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, interface guidelines and material design best practices is a plus
  • Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch” and “swipe” is a plus
  • Knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Loves writing unit testing ;-)
  • Experience working with git and continuous integration tools

JAVA Architect

Under the guidance of the Chief Technology Officer you will manage the development processes in the product development department.
Responsibilities
The JAVA architect is aware of the newest technology products and development methodologies available on the market to build reliable, scalable, high speed Cloud-based products. He co-defines the architecture of the product(s), and ensures that the developers have the necessary tools and knowhow to carry out the development. The architect supervises the development process and reports to the CTO. Lead, design, solutions. Interact with technical leads and business stakeholders to provide solutions.
Your Skills
  • Candidate should have at least 10+ years of total work experience in Java/J2EE technologies of which at least 6 years in Technology Architect to design system architecture, guide and review technical delivery by internal teams, resolve architecture issues and deliver / own architecture of application solutions spanning across multiple technologies
  • Strong OO design skills, design patterns, architecture patterns and application.
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a technical direction; preferably in IT and / or telecommunications and / or aviation.
  • You are well aware of SaaS concepts and of cloud-based applications.
  • You are proficient in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
  • Affinity with Aviation is a plus

Responsibilities

As Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between our development team and the customer. Your responsibilities are the following:

  • Describe requirements through interaction with the customer;
  • Perform the functional analysis and after the pre-study, define and document the functional design
  • Participate in product meetings, contribute insights and ideas that help translate business needs into specifications/solutions;
  • Recommend solutions to management that balance the competing needs for innovation and standardization/process harmonization, leveraging targeted research;

Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities
As a product manager your responsibilities are the following:
  • Build a long-term product vision and value proposition based on customer needs, competitive analysis and overall Unifly strategy. Product differentiation is key;
  • Define product roadmap and set engineering priorities. Work closely with project management, business analysts, business development and sales to collect market feedback and re-align roadmaps;
  • Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Manage UI/UX definitions of the product;
  • Share the product vision and value propositions to customers, partners and internal stakeholders;
  • Provide feedback on feature analyses from projects and guard the functional scope of the product. Negotiate product features between product and the projects;
  • Support management with an appropriate licensing and commercial model;
  • Become a subject matter expert.
Your Skills
  • You hold a Bachelor and/or Master degree;
  • You have confirmed experience or a strong affinity with software;

HR Manager

As our HR Manager, your main responsibilities are to roll out a Unifly HR strategy. This includes developing and managing the Unifly culture, internal communication, recruiting new colleagues, maintaining benefits and payroll and engaging in training and development.   • You create and implement a human resources strategy, translating the management policy into concrete procedures for the personnel.
