For our office in Antwerp (Deurne), Belgium, we’re currently looking for a: Junior/Medior Java Engineer.
Purpose of the job
We’re on the hunt for Java Engineers who are all about diving into the nitty-gritty of Unifly’s product suite. You’ll be tinkering with the existing platform, working alongside a cool crew of product and engineering professionals, using all the latest fancy tools.
Responsibilities of the job
- Design and construct applications to the highest industry standards.
- Analyse and produce top-quality code.
- Collaborate closely with the team to conceptualize, design, and implement new features.
- Identify and rectify performance bottlenecks and address software bugs.
- Contribute to the maintenance of code quality, performance, organization, and automation.
Job skills
- Proficiency in Java, Spring (boot), and Hibernate.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Initial exposure to web development.
- Familiarity with Spring integration and/or Apache Camel (EAI patterns).
- Basic experience with Git and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of GIS is a valuable asset.
