Front-end Engineer

Unifly is the world leader in unmanned traffic management. Our software for Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) is used on a national scale in various European countries, as well as in the US, Africa and Asia. With its platform, authorities can manage and visualize drone flights in their airspace, just like defining no-fly zones. Drone operators can plan, track and validate their drones and associated flights, taking into account national and international legislation.

  • Experience writing typed Javascript using Typescript and/or Flow
  • A track record of working in a development team using modern processes and tools
  • A keen eye for detail and precision when completing your work: clean pull requests, constructive code reviews

  • Nice to have: experience in developing geospatial or map applications, e.g. using Luciad, Mapbox etc

Soft skills:
  • You want to work in a team with trust and accountability as core values
  • You communicate well: proactive, to the point, factual, constructive
  • You are not worried about the low amount of buzzword / technical terms in this description, as you are mature enough to understand that we need to hire for potential, and you will want to learn our specifics to become a productive team member
  • You like a mean game of table soccer or pool now and then, or would love to grow your skills

We are a rapidly growing software scale-up in an exciting, disruptive domain. Yes: we work hard and play hard. But we also find work/life balance important – this is a marathon, not a sprint – and hence provide room and flexibility to support your wellbeing: flexible working hours, ability to work from home on a regular basis, generous holiday plan.

Unifly has an informal working atmosphere with cool R&R possibilities: pool table, table soccer, after-work drinks, personal lockers and shower facilities for people who bike to work or go for a mid-day run. As an internationally recognized builder of the future of UTM, Unifly provides a dynamic and international work environment with room for growth for anyone. In addition to your remuneration, we also offer an attractive package of extralegal benefits.
