Unifly and MBDA Sign Partnership Agreement
Antwerp, Belgium – 15 June 2026 – Unifly, a global leader in UAS Traffic Management (UTM) technology, has signed a partnership agreement with MBDA, a world leader in the field of complex weapon systems, to collaborate on sovereign and modular end-to-end C-UAS solutions.
The agreement was signed at Eurosatory 2026 in the presence of Flemish Minister-President Matthias Diependaele, underscoring the role of Flemish innovation in addressing global security challenges. The partnership will initially focus on Flanders as a reference case, with the ambition to explore opportunities for deployment in other markets worldwide.
By combining Unifly’s operationally proven UTM platform, successfully deployed in multiple operational environments worldwide, with MBDA’s expertise in air defence systems, the partnership aims to support the safe and secure management of unmanned aerial threats around military sites, critical infrastructure, airports, ports, public events and other security-sensitive environments.
As drone activity continues to grow, governments and organisations require trusted solutions that can detect, identify and respond to aerial threats while integrating with existing UAS traffic management systems. Through this collaboration, Unifly and MBDA will work together to address this need with a future-ready approach designed to evolve with emerging threats.
